Mendocino Farms offers a fresh, delicious and dynamic menu. It is seasonally driven by their executive chef, and changes every few months. They also have a rotating offering of soups and deli sides.

Which healthy swaps do they offer?

They have a BYO menu for anyone who wants to build their own custom sandwich or salad, and you can also make almost any sandwich “salad style” on a bed of lettuce instead of the bread.

Here are my top picks based on superfood ingredients and close to 500 kcals each:

Farm Club– hand carved turkey breast (no deli meat here!) and nitrate-free bacon served with avocado, pickled red onions, and baby greens from local CA farm partner Scarborough Farms, served on soft and fluffy seeded whole wheat bread delivered fresh daily.

Not So Fried Chicken– a healthier version of an indulgent cold fried chicken sandwich, made from fresh shaved roasted chicken breast layered with “Mendo’s krispies” (made from cornmeal) for that fried chicken crunch without the guilt. Served with mustard pickle slaw and a side of warm bbq or southern remoulade sauce.
