2 medium Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples (best flavor and hold together when baking)
Mixed 1 Tbsp melted coconut oil
1 tsp coconut sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp coconut flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
- Slice apples into thin wedges.
- Whisk the remaining ingredients and once well integrated, mix with sliced apples.
- Spread the apple slices into the bottom of a small cast iron skillet and bake for 25 min.
- Remove from oven and top with walnuts, granola or fresh berries before serving.
