Our goal is to optimize your diet through effective and sustainable behavior change. We guide and support each person to formulate and meet achievable goals to improve eating habits. We create a custom meal plan based on individual needs, considering medical history, food preferences, mindful eating, physical activity and lifestyle. The assessment will include a comprehensive analysis of your current food intake to identify any missing key nutrients.

Please note: Except Hill Physician Members or Medicare Part B beneficiaries with Type 2 diabetes with a physician referral, all nutritional consultation visits are self pay at this time (effective January 1, 2017).  We have moved away from providing insurance coverage in our practice as there has been an incremental increase in requirements for documentation and paperwork. The extra time spent on insurance billing and subsequent follow up with our billing company was impacting the time available for us to deliver exemplary, compassionate and comprehensive nutrition consultations. All Medicare Part B beneficiaries must call directly our office at (925) 407-4740 to schedule their appointments.

Virtual Nutrition Counseling

Long-distance is no longer an obstacle for obtaining optimum nutrition counseling. We make it seamless by offering the same service provided in our one-on-one session but virtually. Through a HIPPA compliant (secure) platform, we can help you achieve your nutritional goals even while traveling.

Pricing:

  • Initial consultation: up to 45 minutes, $100
  • Follow-up sessions: up to 30 minutes, $50
  • Gold package: $250 includes initial consultation +  3 follow-up sessions and exclusive offer of 15 e-mail questions (equivalent to 1 FREEE additional consultation hour) for paying in advance

Metabolic Testing

We are licensed for the Nutrigenomix 45 gene personalized nutrition assessment test. This company is exclusively available exclusively to registered dietitians. It’s as simple as spitting in a test tube and you’ll receive a comprehensive report that will have you eat according to your genes. This test provides DNA-based dietary recommendations related to weight management, nutrient metabolism, food intolerances and cardiometabolic health. We also provide information on genes that influence eating habits and response to physical activity.
